1) Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Both in person and online registration are available. To ensure a convenient lesson time, it is advisable that students register at least a week prior to the start of each semester (Fall, Spring, Summer).

2) Spring schedules will stay the same as the Fall, if tuition of continuing students is received at least one week prior to the start of the Spring semester.

3) Lesson times will be scheduled before the beginning of each semester.

4) Students must register for full terms (or full remaining terms, if registering after January 19th/2021).

5) We encourage students to use our online registration form on our website www.faysom.com. Please contact the Director of FaySOM, Dr. Carlos Castilla, if you need to register in person.

6) Monthly payment options are available. Monthly payments should be done on the first day or 15th of the month depending on your particular payment arrangement.

7) Please, keep in mind that should you want to register in person, you would need to provide a check payable to Fayetteville School of Music, LLC. There is a $30 fee for each returned check.

Payment Agreement

Please, keep in mind that although monthly payments are available, your registration is effective for a full semester. If it becomes necessary to withdraw from instruction for any reason, the student must provide written notice of termination to the Director of the School. Refunds will only be issued during the first 7 days of enrollment. No refunds will be issued to any student who withdraws after the second week of lessons. This also applies to military families that have to undergo a permanent change of station (PCS) before the end of the semester.

Important:

If monthly payment arrangements were made, the student is still responsible for the remaining balance of the entire semester after withdrawing.

Attendance and discipline

1) Attendance is expected for the full term. The student should notify the teacher if a lesson needs to be canceled due to illness. The instructor is not required to make up lessons cancelled by the students; however, we would do our best to reschedule up to one lesson cancelled or rescheduled due to illness. Please, contact your instructor promptly to discuss make-up options. Should an instructor miss a lesson, the instructor is required to make-up lessons in a mutually arranged time before the end of the semester.

2) Students should remain in the premises of FaySOM for the entire duration of the student’s lesson. If a parent plans to drop off and pick up the student at the school, please do so in a manner that the student is picked up exactly after finishing his/her lesson. At no time a student should remain unattended. Please, call our office in the case that you are anticipating being late to pick up your child.
